gratitude in action:
your chance to give back
After their daughter Azai was born with a congenital heart defect, Tara and Daniel entrusted the doctors at Children's Health to provide life-changing care and bring hope back into their lives.
With Azai now a healthy, happy 3-year-old, Tara and Daniel have been inspired to give back to ensure other families receive the support they need. In 2024, the couple made their most significant investment in the future of Children’s Health through a pledge to support the new Dallas pediatric campus.
If you, too, have felt the hope and healing provided by Children's Health in your time of need, discover how you can help ensure others receive that care.
For those interested in alternative ways to give, including fundraisers, naming opportunities on our new campus, planned gifts, etc., please contact us at grateful@childrens.com.

Ways to join the program
If you would like to give a donation in honor of your caregiver or patient, make a legacy gift, start your own fundraiser or share patient artwork, click on the appropriate button below to get started.
Share Your Artwork
Providing patient artwork is a creative and meaningful way to share your family's story while uplifting others on their health care journey. Whether it’s a drawing, painting or another art form, these heartfelt pieces can offer comfort, inspiration and hope to children and families during some of their toughest days.
Legacy and Gift Planning
Legacy and gift planning allows you to support Children’s Health by including them in your estate plans - through a will, trust, life insurance or retirement assets. One unique approach for parents or guardians is establishing a Supplemental Needs Trust (SNT), which can provide ongoing financial support for a child with long-term healthcare needs while also enabling you to support the future of Children’s Health. These options can offer potential tax benefits and ensure your generosity makes a lasting impact for generations to come.
Start Your Fundraiser
Starting a fundraiser is a powerful way to respond when friends and family ask how they can support you throughout your child’s health care journey. By harnessing the power of your social networks, you can invite loved ones to donate in honor of important milestones like a remission day or birthday. This easy, impactful option allows your community to be incredible together and help make life better for children - just like yours - every step of the way.
Honor and Memorial Giving
Honor and memorial giving is a way to pay tribute to someone dear to you, whether in honor of a person who has touched your life, or in memory of a loved one who has passed away. By dedicating a gift in their name, you help support patient care, research and community health initiatives that make a lasting impact. This is a meaningful way to show your appreciation for someone while also making life better for children.

Isai
"When we first arrived to the emergency department, we were terrified," said Isai’s mom, Alejandra. "But seeing how well Isai has been cared for has alleviated some of the fear and hardship from everything we've undergone. At Children's Health, I always know that Isai is going to be OK."

Sydney
"My heart and liver transplant offered me a path to actually begin my story and to pursue everything I want to in life," Sydney said. "I'm very grateful to my doctors, my family, my friends and the donor's family for giving me the gift of a brighter future."

Aaron
"The doctors, the nurses, everybody would come in and make it all about Aaron, making him feel comfortable. They were so kind to him,” said Yadira, his mom. “Children’s Health has been so good to us and our son."

Amulya
Amulya’s care team was determined to find an answer, opting to try a more invasive series of plasma exchange treatments to target her Guillain-Barré syndrome. Although it was hard on her body, being surrounded by smiles from team members and fellow patients at Children’s Health fueled Amulya through her journey to recovery.
